DRIESCHER – Outdoor Disconnectors, Earthing devices and Fuse holders

The various 3-pole earthing switch ES models can be used at rated voltages of 12 kV, 17.5 kV, 24 kV, 36 kV and 38.5 kV. 20 kA, 31.5 kA, 50 kA, 63 kA and
72 kA have been specified as rated short-time withstand currents. Earthing switches up to a rated short-time withstand current of 31.5 kA have a short-circuit making capacity and are categorised under electrical class E1. For rated short-time withstand currents of 50 kA and above, the earthing switches do not have a short-circuit making capacity and are classified accordingly under electrical class E0. 1 and 2-pole earthing switches are available on request.
